What to bring to the maternity ward?

Start preparing your maternity items around your 8th month of pregnancy. First, plan for a bag for the delivery room and a suitcase for your hospital stay. Plan for a suitcase for your baby to easily find everyone's belongings.

How to dress for going to the maternity ward?

The departure to the maternity ward can be more or less rushed. If this is your first child, for the majority, you'll have a few hours ahead of you before meeting your little treasure! Plan for comfortable clothes to be at ease and move freely. If baby takes their time, you'll be allowed to walk around so plan for comfortable shoes.

Before leaving for the maternity ward, take time to shower and eat. Bring water and apple juice as some maternity wards allow drinking during labor.
