How did our story begin?
Let's go back a little... About thirty years ago, Patrice, a sales representative in the textile industry for mass retail and father of 3 young boys, realized that the choice, colors and designs of baby pajamas were very simple and limited.
Coming home from work one day, he discovered the drawings of "Coco" (aka Corine, his children's nanny) and found himself imagining them on pajamas! The soft, delicate and professional touch of this graduate of the Fine Arts School in Toulon won him over: he proposed that she join him on the adventure. She would design the collections while he would contact suppliers and prospects… This was the birth of the Savoyard company Novatex in 2000, and its flagship brand: Kinousses.
What matters to us
The Trois Kilos Sept brand was born in 2012 to create, with love and tenderness, all the comfort little ones need. We accompany babies from birth up to 2 years old, offering collections of pajamas, bodysuits, bed linen, developmental toys and baby care accessories. At its launch, Trois Kilos Sept was a brand for babies, distributed by childcare professionals.
In December 2023, the Kinousses brand was absorbed by Trois Kilos Sept.
All our products are designed in France in the heart of Savoie, in a natural setting nestled between lake and mountain. Over 20 years later, Coco is still here; joined by Charlène, who brings her experience as a young mother. Together, they make it a point of honor to imagine and create unique, original and of course high-quality collections. Through these collections, thanks to the characters, materials and colors chosen, they tell us children's stories. The emphasis is on softness, but not only that… We pay attention to detail, favoring the mixing of materials, appliqués and embroidery. We also ensure meticulous monitoring of the manufacturing process in compliance with European standards and our quality charter, thanks to Rachel, our quality and packaging fairy.
Pssst... and where does Trois Kilos Sept come from?
TROIS KILOS SEPT because, give or take a few hundred grams, that's the average weight of a baby at birth! But above all because it was the weight of Benoît, Patrice & Nicole's first son, when he was born... Benoît, who, although he no longer weighs that much, is still connected to the company as a sales representative since 2019 alongside Jérémy.

Patrice today holds the reins of a great team (and Stéphanie manages the accounts). All our orders for shops and individuals are carefully prepared in our premises by the logistics team.
