Baby sleeping bag

Sleep bag, baby sleeping bag, baby wearable blanket

The sleep bag will accompany your baby during their first years. It is put on your child when they fall asleep. Easy to put on, it closes with a zip either at the front for newborn sleep bags for small sizes 0/6 months or on the side up to about 36 months. With different compositions, you can refer to the TOG to choose the sleep bag for your baby girl or baby boy suitable for the room: the lightweight TOG 1 sleep bag is ideal for warmer rooms (22°C and above), the TOG 2 sleep bag or the TOG 2.5 sleep bag are used for more moderate temperatures (16-20°C), and the TOG 3 sleep bag adapts to cooler environments (13-18°C).

Discover our grow-with-me sleep bags, designed to accompany your child's growth. Thanks to their snap systems, you can adjust their length and use them longer. Practical and economical, they adapt to baby's needs over the months.

Some of our sleep bags have removable sleeves, ideal for adapting warmth according to the seasons and keeping baby at the right temperature without needing several models.

All our zippered sleep bags have reinforcement at the zipper level to protect baby's delicate skin and guarantee maximum comfort without any discomfort during sleep.

How to choose the right baby sleeping bag

The essential sleep sack from 0 to 24 months

From birth until 24 months, the sleeping bag guarantees your baby a warm and safe sleep. Like a sleeping bag to which we would have added straps, the sleep sack prevents your baby from uncovering during the night while giving them freedom of movement. Furthermore, by replacing the use of a blanket or comforter and by keeping the child's face and airways clear, it limits the risks of suffocation and sudden infant death syndrome. By choosing a model adapted to your baby's age but also to the season and the temperature of the room in which your child will sleep, you can put them to bed without worry, ensuring optimal sleep quality. At Trois Kilos Sept, we offer sleeping bags specially adapted for premature babies and sleep sacks for newborns measuring between 55 and 65 cm long. From 6 months, we offer sleeping bags measuring 90 cm long that can be used until 24 months. We also offer some evolving sleep bags from 6 to 36 months, measuring up to 110 cm long.

A sleeping bag adapted to the room temperature, with the TOG rating

For winter, we offer sleeping bag models in flannel or velvet, some of our winter sleep sacks even have long sleeves. For mid-season, we recommend sleep sacks in 100% cotton, sleeveless, with padding that is a little lighter than a winter sleep bag. And finally, for the summer season, you'll be spoiled for choice between our ultra-light and absorbent terry summer sleeping bags and our cotton muslin models, gentle on babies' delicate skin, soft and breathable. Along the same lines, you'll need to choose your sleeping bag according to the room in which your baby will sleep. For this, you can use the TOG identification that appears on most of our sleeping bag models. After checking the temperature of the room where your child sleeps (we recommend taking several readings during the day, in order to take into consideration the possible temperature variations that may occur in the same room between day and night and thus obtain a range as close as possible to the reality felt by your child).

To create a cozy nest for your little one, nothing beats a baby bed bumper to define their sleep space, while adding an extra touch of comfort. In addition to its decorative aspect, it protects baby from drafts or creates a warm cocoon depending on the model you choose.

Complete the sleeping bag with a comfortable baby pajamas and a front-opening crossover bodysuit. The soft velvet baby pajamas will keep your child warm while allowing good body temperature regulation. For even more practicality, choose a front-opening crossover bodysuit, easy to put on and ideal to avoid handling your baby too much, especially in the first months.
