This 2-meter decorative baby braid is designed to define a safer play area while adding a decorative touch to your baby’s space. Placed around a play mat, at the back of a playpen, or in a reading nook, it offers a soft barrier for your baby’s first explorations. It helps cushion minor bumps from rolling or small everyday tumbles.
Flexible yet generously padded, the braid is made of three intertwined strands and fastens easily with small ties sewn at the ends. Once secured, it stays in place while retaining its plush, comforting feel. Its timeless gingham pattern suits both classic and more modern nurseries. Thanks to its flexible shape, the braid can be moved easily and used in different ways to suit the room’s layout.
Decorative, protective, and versatile, this decorative baby braid makes an ideal gift for new parents.
Decorative braid warning
Often called a braided crib bumper or crib braid, these braids are decorative accessories for a baby’s room. Using them as a crib liner for babies is not recommended. To help prevent sudden unexpected infant death, doctors, childcare experts, and pediatricians advise against using a crib braid as a crib bumper.
The braid is a decorative accessory. You can place it at the foot of the crib for decoration before your baby is born, or on a piece of nursery furniture for a modern touch, perhaps coordinated with the colors of your baby’s outfit. The decorative braid can help support your baby on a play mat or be used in a playpen, under parental supervision. Once your baby is older, the decorative braid can be coiled up and used as a cushion during bedtime stories.
